All eyes on me in the center of the ring just like a circus Cirque du Soleil. Cirque du Soleil Corteo is coming to Bon Secours Wellness Arena from Thursday, March 21 to Sunday, March 24.

Here are a few fun facts about the show:

  • This is the first time it’s been in Greenville.
  • It first premiered in Montreal in April 2005.
  • Corteo means cortege (think: a funeral procession) in Italian.
  • It’s about a clown who imagines his funeral taking place in a “carnival atmosphere.”
  • The staging splits the audience in half, with each half looking at the other.
  • The set curtains were inspired by the Eiffel Tower.
