Currently the CEO of GEM Mining , a privately held, institutional-grade Bitcoin (BTC) mining company, John served four years of active duty as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps beginning in 2006. He was decorated for valor and heroic achievement after leading 300+ combat missions.
