2017 was an exciting year for GVL’s culinary scene: Husk (finally) opened, Diner 24 opened + closed (and may open again), Menkoi opened a downtown location 🍜, and so much more . But it’s a new year so it’s time for new eats + drinks.
Here’s what we’re looking forward to:
The Farehouse | Taylors Mill | Expected opening: Spring | Order pizza by the slice or classic dishes like chicken piccata and shrimp + grits. Have a quiet date night in the a private dining area + wine cellar, or bring kids to play in the children’s area.

Tetrad Brewing Co. | 603 Stone Ave. | Expected opening: Spring | Half-Moon Outfitters is joining up with Tetrad Brewing Co. in the new 3,368-square-foot location on Stone Ave.

Oak Hill Café | 2510 Poinsett Highway | Expected opening: Spring | The new restaurant will open in a two-story space in Cherrydale area with a garden behind it. The acre of garden space will be designed + maintained by Chris Miller (That Garden Guy ) and Aaron von Frank of Tyrant Farms.
