If you’re heading out for college visits this summer or just on your way to the beach, you don’t want to miss a chance to eat at Kiki’s Chicken and Waffles in Columbia. This homegrown favorite has all day breakfast and fantastic soul food options (like stellar fried okra and pork-laden greens).

For sure order the classic Chicken and Waffle Plate- that’s means four crusty fried chicken wings topping a perfectly fluffy Belgium waffle. Add maple syrup and Texas Pete-- slug it down with some rather sweet tea-- and you have one memorable meal! Yes, you can get other cuts of chicken, you can even order single pieces.

And, if you happen to be going to Atlanta Food and Wine Festival this Thursday-Sunday, you’ll be able to catch Kiki Cyrus not once, but at four different events representing The South Carolina Chef Ambassadors including a featured class titled: Whiskey Wisdom and the Kitchen Sink.
