I’ve written and written (and written) about this very taco and I’m still writing about it today. In fact, it was the very first taco the guys at White Duck Taco Greenville made off the line at the Hampton Station store.

The magic of the Bangkok Shrimp Taco is simple: it’s not made until you order it. Shrimp is dusted and then dropped into a fryer by hand to assemble a taco with quick curried pickles (that are addictive in their own right). The crunch and the tang and little bit of sweet make for a magnificent taco on a slightly warmed corn tortilla.

Yes, the pork belly taco is ridiculous. Yes, the margaritas on the rocks are slurpable. But what drives me on autopilot to Hampton Station is the Bangkok Shrimp taco, so when you’ve had your fill of turkey and gravy this week head here and bask in our good luck that White Duck Taco is in Greenville too.
