It’s time for our close-up. For the second year in a row, Centre Stage is producing a Fringe Festival (think: lesser-known works) at the beginning of the season + all three shows will be produced within a two-month period.
This year’s Fringe Festival features “thought-provoking and contemporary pieces exploring mental health topics,” including:
- “Art” by Yazmina Rosa | Thursday, Sept. 12-Sunday, Sept. 15 | This comedy follows friends as they interpret a piece of art in different ways.
- “And Getting Caught in the Rain” by Ashley Wettlin | Thursday, Sept. 26-Sunday, Sept. 29 | Two very different people find love against all odds.
- “Next to Normal” music by Tom Kitt + book by Brian Yorkey| Thursday, Oct. 17-Sunday, Oct. 27 | Follow a suburban family as they navigate the ups and downs of family life.
