South Street Partners has announced its purchase of Palmetto Bluff in a joint venture with real estate manager Henderson Park the largest transaction in SC history.

South Street is the largest master-planned community developer in the Southeast. The company now owns 3 major SC communities — Palmetto Bluff and The Cliffs — and is owner of the residential development of Kiawah Island which includes Kiawah Island Real Estate and Kiawah Island Club.

Housing demand in these communities has skyrocketed since the pandemic — both The Cliffs + Kiawah Island experienced record-breaking home sales in 2020 and a record number of new homes have broken ground.

South Street acquired Palmetto Bluff in 2021 — a 20k-acre property on the Intracoastal Waterway in SC. The area has 32 miles of riverfront, Southern-style neighborhoods, and a luxury golf course. New developments will include a second golf club and Anson Village.

South Street bought Kiawah Partners , Kiawah Island Club, and Kiawah Island Real Estate in 2013. This barrier island in the Lowcountry has 10 miles of shoreline with tennis, boating + golf venues. The 2012 and 2021 PGA Championships were even held at Kiawah Island Golf Resort .
