Seedlings: Farm to table food for kids

FullSizeRender-3

Yesterday, Jonathan Willis (who brought us Farm Fresh Fast) and The Children’s Museum of the Upstate announced they will be partnering to bring a new farm-to-table restaurant, Seedlings, to the museum – and it’s for kids!

They will be sourcing food from local farmers to promote healthy eating + educate kids on the role our local farmers play in the food we eat. Kids can choose they want to eat from stations with info about where the food came from and how it was made. Parents will then help their children scan and pay for their items at the checkout kiosk.

Seedlings is planned to open early next year on the ground floor of the Children’s Museum at 300 College St.

A whole new way to get kids to eat their veggies. 🥕
