Get ready, Greenville. Artisphere presented by Prisma Health is back May 8-10 for a free, family-friendly weekend packed with creativity, music, and fun. Downtown streets will transform into an interactive playground celebrating art in every form.

What’s new this year?
  • Artist Row: Sponsored by GE Vernova and Huntington Bank, 140 artists were chosen from 1,060+ applicants. They showcase 17 artistic mediums from 34 states, including 47 first-time Artisphere participants.
  • Hands-on fun: Explore interactive exhibits and live demos, plus highlights like the “Hope Forward” community mural with Prisma Health led by Greenville native artist William Downs, and Fiercely Forward with Clemson University blending art, science, and tech.
  • Music for every taste: The Main Stage lineup spans genres from soul and jazz to indie rock, folk, and country — with artists from Greenville, Nashville, and as far as Hawaii. Check the Artisphere website for the full lineup.
  • Foodie finds: Two new vendors, White Wine and Butter and Califas, are joining the festival spread.
Artisphere isn’t just a festival — it’s a full weekend experience. Bring the whole family, meet incredible artists, discover new flavors, and dance to live tunes.

International Ballet wraps its 23rd season with “Coppélia” at the Peace Center’s Gunter Theatre Friday, May 1-Saturday, May 2.

This lighthearted story ballet follows Swanhilda, her fiancé Franz, and eccentric inventor Dr. Coppélius. Principal guest artists and upstate natives Logan Acker and Michael Agudelo of Ballet San Antonio lead the cast of 22 local dancers ages 14-18 who train and perform with International Ballet in Greenville. The sweetest part? Each child receives a free cake pop at intermission.

The Buy

This No. 1 best-selling jelly tote bag that we’re low-key obsessed with for spring and summer. The tip-proof design keeps your tote upright, but it still folds flat to pack or store. It’s also waterproof, easy to clean, and carry-on approved — hello, beach vacay bag. Grab your favorite color (we like iridescent) and let the compliments pour in.
