On November 17, 2025, Christ Church Episcopal School broke ground on its $56 million “Build for the Future” campus expansion, marking the start of a transformational first phase of its Campus Master Plan.

Phase one will introduce two major facilities:
  • The TIDE Building: 22,000 sqft dedicated to Technology, Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship, featuring classrooms, labs, breakout spaces, outdoor learning areas, a conference room, and a grab-and-go café.
  • The Sports Performance Building: A 56,000-sqft facility with a competition gym, strength and conditioning center, wrestling practice area, training spaces, locker rooms, and an elevated indoor track.
Infrastructure improvements include a new loop road to promote a safer, pedestrian-centered campus and ease traffic around Cavalier Drive and Wenwood Road, along with expanded parking.

The project is backed by a $40 million campaign — with $27 million already raised through private donations — reflecting the strong community support driving this vision forward.
