Chances are your social media feeds are filled with Spotify Wrapped 2025, and no matter how victimized you may feel by the “listening age” it assigned you, we’re taking inspiration to recap Greenville’s top stories of the year. Don’t worry, we’re not telling anyone they’re over 25.

The TIDE Building: 22,000 sqft dedicated to Technology, Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship, featuring classrooms, labs, breakout spaces, outdoor learning areas, a conference room, and a grab-and-go café.
The Sports Performance Building: A 56,000-sqft facility with a competition gym, strength and conditioning center, wrestling practice area, training spaces, locker rooms, and an elevated indoor track.
Infrastructure improvements include a new loop road to promote a safer, pedestrian-centered campus and ease traffic around Cavalier Drive and Wenwood Road, along with expanded parking.
The project is backed by a $40 million campaign — with $27 million already raised through private donations — reflecting the strong community support driving this vision forward.
Give your feedback on Greenville’s new wheelsports park at the final public meeting on Monday, Dec. 9 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Prisma Health Welcome Center in Unity Park. Residents can review the latest design and weigh in before the project heads to city council.

Unity Park’s playground will close for two to three weeks starting Monday, Dec. 8 for turf repairs following damage from Hurricane Helene. Crews will fix the base materials and replace the synthetic turf. Meadow Lot 2 closes starting today, Dec. 4 for equipment staging.

Look up. The December supermoon will appear today, Dec. 4, at 6:14 p.m., according to the Almanac. This occurs when the moon’s orbit gets closer to Earth, making the moon appear brighter than usual. This will be your last chance to see the cold moon before the year ends. (TIME)
