Christ Church Episcopal School has officially broken ground on a $56 million campus expansion, launching phase one of its “Build for the Future” campus master plan.
Key project elements include:
Technology, Innovation, Design & Entrepreneurship Center (22,000 sqft.)
Known as the TIDE center, this hub features classrooms, labs, breakout rooms, a conference room, outdoor learning areas, and a grab-and-go cafe.
Sports Performance Building (56,000 sqft.)
It includes a competition gym, strength and conditioning facilities, wrestling practice space, a training center, locker rooms, and an elevated indoor track. Outside, you’ll find more practice fields and dedicated space for lacrosse and field hockey.

Other campus improvements include a new loop road to create a more pedestrian-focused campus and relieve traffic on surrounding roads, upgraded infrastructure, and added parking.
Phase one of construction will take 18–20 months, with facilities expected to open in the fall of 2027.
From checking estrogen and testosterone levels to cortisol testing, these transparently priced tests provide quick answers to your pressing health questions.
They’re also the exact same tests your doctor uses — only faster and easier.
The road to recovery from Hurricane Helene continues. Now, the nonprofit Friends of Paris Mountain is asking for help to repair the state park’s amphitheater that was destroyed in the storm. Their fundraiser launches early next month and donations could help relaunch the Music in the Woods concert series. (Greenville Journal)

Yes, those are goats. If you’ve been by Falls Park, you may have noticed a few four-legged freelancers: two goat crews are clearing weeds, poison oak, and invasive plants along the river. You can watch them work, but keep pets away, don’t feed them, and steer clear of the electric fence — they’re on an important mission.
