Can Mann get the comeback win this year? | Photos by Greenville High School + JL Mann High School
Each fall, a longstanding rivalry between high schools comes to a head, but for the Red Raiders and the Patriots, it pays off big time for local charities.
It’s Spirit Week for Greenville High School and JL Mann. Over the next several days, students will dress up according to themes, participate in creative activations during lunch, and raise money in unique and unconventional ways.
Where does the money go?
Greenville High School is supporting Jasmine Road, an organization that provides a path to healing and employment for women survivors of sex trafficking, prostitution, and addiction.
JL Mann is supporting The Dream Center, which provides essential resources, programs, and support to help people transition out of crisis and into self-sufficiency.
Last year, the two schools raised $1,029,258.74. Think they can top it this year?

Wow — I’m truly struggling to find the words to write about how much fun I had this euphoria. Somehow, year after year, it just keeps getting better. From stecca ice cream at Feast by the Field from the Swamp Rabbit Cafe & Grocery to “Four Loko” icing on a dessert at Conveniently Crafted at the Spinx Market & Eatery, there were unforgettable bites I’ll never forget — seriously, there’s no way I can forget that “Four Loko” icing.
