Don’t fret if you see orange barricades in One City Plaza — improvements are underway. Crews are expanding tree wells, upgrading benches + tables, and pressure washing the overhead sail structure. Sidewalks will remain open.

Mansion Monday

Countryside living with a quick commute to downtown fun? We’ll take one of the six bedrooms in this 2.6-acre estate tucked away on Hollow Hill Road. With a chef’s kitchen, fireside family room + updated bathrooms — pick your favorite room.

“We wanted to build a neighborhood that feels like a natural extension of Unity Park and downtown Greenville,” said David Miller, founder of VI Development + Unique Real Estate. That’s why the company broke ground on Unity Village — a 21-unit townhome development on Birnie Street. (Upstate Business Journal)

Something we love about the ending moments of summer? The beginning breeze of fall — a perfect recipe for a stroll around these local landmarks.

Liberty Bridge

Is anything more quintessentially Greenville than the Liberty Bridge (which opened with Falls Park 20 years ago)? This $4.5 million beauty was built in ~1 year and is 345 feet long, 12 feet wide, and 8 inches thick.

The Medusa (or Root) Tree

This 80-year-old American Beech tree has been a staple of downtown and was recognized as the 2023 Heritage Tree by SC Parks and Recreation + TreesSC.

Mice on Main

By far the smallest landmark on our list, these nine bronze mice are hidden along Main Street. If you find them all, you can forever boast the title of “The Big Cheese.”
