Development

Greenville’s Design Review Board approved revised plans for 426 North Main, a mixed-use project on the former Municipal Court and American Legion site. Changes include trimming the south building to 13 stories, raising the north tower to 17, and adding safety and landscaping improvements. (Upstate Business Journal)

Biz

Also approved with conditions, the four-story office building that’s planned for East McBee Avenue and Mordecai Street, across from McBee Station. The project includes office space, top-floor outdoor amenities, and parking. (Upstate Business Journal)

Mansion Monday

Downtown convenience meets luxe living in this fully renovated four-bed, five-bath retreat, which features a spa-worthy primary suite, custom gym, putting green, and a screened porch on a half-acre lot. Location, location, location — it’s just steps from Main Street and the Swamp Rabbit Trail.

Civic

Greenville County planning and development leaders approved a proposed ordinance to regulate food trucks, aiming to ensure safe, quality service as mobile dining grows. Local owners, like Cory Rutland of Local Pie Pizza, welcomed the rules, saying they’ll help small startups thrive. Greenville County Council will review the measure next. (WYFF 4)

Cause

Grab your paddle for United Ministries’ first-ever Pickle for a Purpose on Oct. 1 at PKL Park. Dodge, dink, and dive with competitive tourney, open play, raffles, food, drinks, and music — all to support resources for Greenvillians in need.
