Starting this fall, the DMV will issue new driver’s licenses and identification cards with new security features, including laser engraving + fraud protection. There is no action required until your ID expires. See the new design, which features the State House, palmetto tree, crescent, yellow jessamine, Carolina wren, and a loggerhead sea turtle.

From March to July 2028, the Greenville Convention Center will be transformed into ~60 bowling lanes to host the US Bowling Congress Open Championships, drawing 50,000 bowlers over ~140 days of competition with a projected economic impact of $70+ million.
To prepare for the world’s largest participatory sporting event — and the “largest event ever” for Greenville — the president + CEO of VisitGreenvilleSC, Heath Dillard, took a trip to Baton Rouge to see the current event in action.
