Post of the Day

From March to July 2028, the Greenville Convention Center will be transformed into ~60 bowling lanes to host the US Bowling Congress Open Championships, drawing 50,000 bowlers over ~140 days of competition with a projected economic impact of $70+ million.

To prepare for the world’s largest participatory sporting event — and the “largest event ever” for Greenville — the president + CEO of VisitGreenvilleSC, Heath Dillard, took a trip to Baton Rouge to see the current event in action.

Our favorite part: All the wood and wiring used to create the lanes in Greenville will be donated to Habitat for Humanity to build homes.
