Honoring a legend, Furman soccer will retire Clint Dempsey’s jersey on Sunday, Aug. 31, when the Paladins host Duke at Stone Soccer Stadium. The iconic US Men’s National Team member also played for Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League, as well as for Seattle Sounders FC in Major League Soccer, following his collegiate career.
