Did someone say pool day? | Photo by Hotel Hartness
Summer’s flying by, and if you’re craving a getaway without the travel, consider this your sign to take a staycation. My pick? Hotel Hartness, which was just named the No. 2 hotel in South Carolina and one of the top 100 hotels in the world by Travel + Leisure.

Even if you’re not planning an overnight stay, a treatment (or two) at Spa H gets you pool access. I’m a big fan of the signature botanical facial.

This fall, downtown Greenville will welcome a new neighborhood of upscale townhome-style condos from Stanley Martin Homes.

Springing to life in the heart of the Unity Park district, with restaurants, retail, and green spaces like the Swamp Rabbit Trail in every direction, Mayberry Village offers new-build 2-and 3-bedroom homes in one of our city’s best-connected locations.

Each stylish space includes a gourmet chef’s kitchen with a sit-down island, private balcony views, expansive primary suites, and an oversized 1-car garage for plenty of storage.

Plus, low-maintenance landscaping means you can spend less time mowing and more time going:

If you’re ready for a pumpkin spice latte, you’ll likely be waiting a few more weeks. The seasonal drink isn’t expected to return to Starbucks until late August, based on historic data. If you need something to sip on until then, we recommend exploring our local coffee shops. (USA TODAY)
