Renderings were released for future designs at Williams-Bryce Stadium in Columbia. The two south end zone ramps will be replaced with escalators, and the existing ramps will be transformed into towers featuring three levels of premium clubs — plus, and there will be an open fourth level for fans to stand watch the game. It’s been three years since we first reported Buc-ee’s plans for Anderson County on I-85 — so what’s the holdup? According to county leaders, the Texas-based gas station still owns the land, but the county needs $60 million to build road infrastructure and applied for SC Transportation Infrastructure Bank funding in March 2024.
