We’re seeing stars. The MICHELIN Guide announced a new “American South” guide covering the Carolinas, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee (and the pre-existing Atlanta Guide). This opens the door for local spots to earn Michelin stars for the very first time based on the guide’s historic methodology + criteria.

Besides Pleasantburg and Greenville, what would you name our city?
Earlier this week, we shared the history of why Greenville was almost called Pleasantburg + asked you what you would name our fair city if you could. We decided to test some of these names out by replacing “Greenville” with the names you chose in some of our headlines.
They all sound great, but we think we’ll stick with good ol’ Greenville.
