Who will be the “Mealed It!” champion? Your vote can help decide. | Photos by Vista View Productions
We’ve got great news for fans of Netflix’s “Nailed It!” — Meals on Wheels of Greenville (MOW) is serving up its own holiday showdown.
Today, Dec. 3, join MOW for the annual “Mealed It!” Giving Tuesday fundraiser. The goal: Raise $50,000 to provide meals + holiday gifts for more than 1,500 locals who are homebound.
Starting at 7 p.m., tune in to MOW’s Facebook page to watch three teams battle the clock (and each other) as they recreate a festive confection by Tayler Profit, owner of Sweets Tayler Made. You can donate to vote for the team you think deserves the “Mealed It!” trophy, and stick around for the winner reveal on Facebook Live.
Bonus: Your donations and votes will provide #MoreThanMeals for people in our community who are isolated, lonely, or food-insecure this holiday season.
“Groundbreaking collaboration.” That’s how the Greenville Downtown Airport described its new agreement with SkyDrive Inc. (electric vertical take-off and landing “eVTOL” manufacturer) + SAI Flight (private jet charter company) to collaborate on “real-life use cases” (think: air-cargo, air-taxi, and emergency services) for flying vehicles between the Greenville Downtown Airport and downtown.
Closed
Scuffletown Food Truck Park in Simpsonville is closed indefinitely as of Saturday, Nov. 30. The owners of the outdoor food + beverage concept, which opened in Dec. 2023, say “unforeseen circumstances” lead to the closure.

The Clemson Tigers will play SMU in the ACC Championship after Miami’s loss to Syracuse, which could punch their ticket to the College Football Playoff with a win. As for the Gamecocks, there’s a lot of ongoing debate about if the three-loss team deserves a spot in the 12-team playoff. What do you think?

I lost count of how many Hallmark Movies I watched over the long holiday weekend, and now I’m going back to listen to each “Deck the Hallmark” podcast episode to go with the movies. In case you missed my interview with them last year, Greenvillians Dan + Bran watch every made-for-tv holiday movie and debrief on their podcast. It’s hilarious, and it has landed them on Good Morning America and Nightline, and in Oprah Mag and Southern Living.
