Swiftstay, a concierge home exchange club, is launching a new service providing local pet sitters through their members-only community.

Here’s how it works:
  • Vetted, local pet sitters will stay at your home, providing your pets with care in a familiar environment.
  • You’ll pay a house-cleaning fee before and after your trip (Swiftstay arranges the cleaners) — and that’s it.
  • Enjoy a stress-free trip knowing your pets are cared for + comfortable.
Bonus: You can also book a place to stay with Swiftstay’s home-sharing network.

If you’ve been scrolling Instagram, you’ve surely seen some incredibly sweet and heartwarming things on your feed, but have you seen anything that made you laugh out loud? City Editor Stephanie has.

While scrolling for news, she came across two posts from Pita House that literally made her LOL. They’re going a little stir crazy after ~6 days with no power.

Starting off strong, we have this one where the chef is out on the street with a sign that says “Will work 4 falafel” while asking Grateful Brew if it’s hiring in the caption. They might have some competition though, The Creperia in Greer offered him a job in the comments.

Followed by this beauty, where the team is pretending they’re open amid the power outage so they can “stay sharp” for when they’re back in business. Sometimes you just have to laugh.

From the editor
Amid the craziness of the last week, here are a few things I’m thankful for:

1. That it’s not July so when we open our windows there’s a breeze.
2. Good books (thanks, M. Judson).
3. The hot shower I took at my friend’s house on Tuesday.
4. Each and every person, place, and business that has done anything for anyone else in the last few days.
5. You. Seriously, Greenville, you’re the best.
