Do you and your bestie end up sitting on your couch, eating junk food, and having a Netflix binge session every time you hang out? Why not try something new? Check out this list (chosen by you, our readers) of “friend date” ideas in Greenville.

Sassafras Flower Farm | Recommended by Elizabeth P.
You can pick your own bouquet of fresh flowers at Sassafras from May to Oct. and enjoy live music every third Thursday during the same period.

Swamp Rabbit Cafe & Grocery and the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail (SRT) | Recommended by Ashley M.
Ashley said she and her pals enjoy grabbing a bite to eat from Swamp Rabbit Cafe & Grocery, followed by a nice, leisurely stroll along the SRT.

daydrinkers | Recommended by Heather R.
Grab a coffee (or adult beverage) with your buddy at daydrinkers and soak up the friendly-feelings. Pro tip: If you want your adult beverage with a local tie, daydrinkers offers brews from Other Lands + Pangea.

The 07 | Recommended by Annamarie B.
According to Annamarie, the place to be with your besties is The 07 for small bites and drinks. We highly recommend the Crispy Brussels Sprout Salad.

Sun and Soil Plant Parlor | Recommended City Editor Stephanie
Did you know that Sun and Soil has a build-your-own terrarium bar? You can either bring your own vessel or choose from one there. All materials and plants are provided, and all you need to do is have a good time.

For the Girls Greenville events | Recommended City Editor Danielle

Did you know? In Greenville, 60,000+ people are unsure where their next meal will come from. Food insecurity is a big issue affecting many of our neighbors —but you can help change that.

Each week, hundreds of Meals on Wheels Greenville volunteers help deliver nourishment to homebound folks in need. Local volunteers are essential for driving 130+ routes to ensure these families receive nutritious meals. Companies like TD Synnex and Thrive Upstate are among those helping to deliver and pack meals — and you can, too.

Want to give back locally? Meals on Wheels offers both individual + group volunteer opportunities, and you can learn more by attending their virtual volunteer orientation on Zoom.

Whether you’re new to the area or a lifelong local, Meals on Wheels needs your help. They’re working to prepare and deliver nearly 1,500 meals every day, and would love your support.
