How do I nominate a business?
Nominations are officially open and close Friday, Aug. 16. Click on this form to start nominating in various categories.
What are the categories?
We’re recognizing a wide range of local businesses across categories like kid-friendly venues, pet-friendly places, and brunch. See the full list.
When does voting start?
Hold tight. We will crunch the numbers and announce the final nominees on Monday, Aug. 26 — and don’t worry, we’ll remind you when voting opens on Monday, Sept. 2 and ends on Friday, Sept. 20.
What about the winners?
The winners for each category will be announced Friday, Oct. 4.

The vibe
The space will embrace the nearly 60-year-old brand’s Miami roots by bringing in planters filled with lush greenery, koi ponds, and fountains. Plus, the setting will showcase Bal Harbour Shops’ signature palm tree motif.
From now on, imagine us saying Mansion Monday to The Bangles song “Manic Monday.” We’re back at it with this five bedroom, nine bathroom (okay, now you’re just showing off) house at 112 Welling Cir. For $5 million this home — featuring a home gym, sauna, steam room, and six-car garage — could be yours.
Outdoors
Natureland Trust — a conservation organization that aims to preserve land in Greenville County — has plans to preserve 365 acres of land along Highway 11. The owner of the land told the Greenville Journal, “I’d much rather see [the property] saved and people in the area be able to enjoy it.”
Biz
Residential + commercial HVAC systems seller Gemaire Distributors is opening a new space in the Pelham Crossing business park in Greer. This 15,000-sqft space will feature offices, a showroom, and a warehouse. The grand opening is scheduled for October. (Upstate Business Journal)
