Book on Breeze or explore Avelo flights.

A Message From Our Team
GVLtoday staff here. We’ve got a goal to raise $12,000 by the end of this week to support our staff and operations. Fun fact: We’ve turned down more than a million dollars in political ads since we first started. We’re that serious about our brand promise.

This election year, we promise to keep your morning news read unbiased, stress-free, and focused on the thing you care about: knowing what’s going on in our city. That means no political ads. Help support our approach to local journalism and give to our fundraising campaign today.

Greenville is a bustling city, and sometimes you need a status update for all the Upstate development projects going on. Thankfully, our friends at Upstate Business Journal put one together.

Gracie Plaza | 250 N. Church St., Greenville

The City of Greenville’s Design Review Board deferred the discussion of site plans for this spot until Thursday, May 16. Once the plans are approved, construction is set to begin in Q1 of 2025.

The Commons Phase Two | 147 Welborn St., Greenville

If you’ve been to The Commons in the last few months, you’ve noticed things under wraps. According to Parker Group Development, we can expect the grand opening announcement in the near future.

Borden Building | 711 W. Washington St., Greenville

Renovations for this spot are complete + Southern Tide will move its headquarters (using ~23,000-sqft of space) here in November.

The Buy

Lume Acidified Body Wash, which is supposed to remove odor better than soap thanks to its key ingredient: mandelic acid. Choose from scents like clean tangerine or go unscented for sensitive skin types.

From the editor
Well, it was another busy weekend in Greenville. On Saturday I went to the Polish Fest at Fireforge and Duckfest at Hampton Station, and had a blast at both. Then yesterday I visited Papi’s Tacos for Cinco de Mayo. I really love this city.
