Did you know 26% of children in South Carolina live in poverty? That’s 245,000 children with limited access to environments and opportunities to support their development.
A Child’s Haven is a nonprofit on a mission to provide therapy for at-risk children and families in the Upstate. ACH currently provides healing early intervention services to over 430 children and families, using a two-generational approach to help break cycles of trauma and adversity that can affect children’s health and wellness over the course of their lives.
Providing a year of treatment costs $60,000+ per family — and ACH never charges caregivers for these services. Rather, the organization relies on the power of the community to provide this support.
With either a one-time or recurring monthly contribution to ACH, you can be a part of the fight against those cycles of trauma and adversity and empower local families to support their children’s development.
Five Upstate leaders have been chosen by Liberty Fellowship — a group of leaders whose aim is to create a better future for all people of SC — as part of its 21-member class of 2025. These leaders will participate in an 18-month program + will become members of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. (Upstate Business Journal)
