• Why did the chicken go to Greer? Hendrix Chicken and Waffles — the newest concept from Chef Mike Siebert — will be taking over the White Wine & Butter location at Cartwright Food Hall. No official opening date has been announced, but the spot is set to open this winter.

• ~300. That’s how many new apartments are coming to Boiling Springs + the Westside of Spartanburg if plans from Spartanburg county are approved. The proposal includes a 128-unit townhome development in Boiling Springs, a 28-unit townhome development in the Westside, and a 164-unit apartment complex in the Fairforest area.
