Greenville native and business owner Kelly Caldwell originally planned to open Drift Float & Spa in September, but construction progress is looking like more of an early-to-mid-October opening. This float spa will be the first of its kind in Greenville and is the next development in the Main + Stone complex.

The 2,441-square-foot will include three private float suites with showers, an infrared sauna, and a multi-purpose area for massage and other spa treatments like oxygen therapy.

Flotation therapy is a sensory deprivation treatment that allows the user to float in warm salt water in a float tank. This treatment is used for anxiety and PTSD, among other mental and emotional disorders. Caldwell has already partnered with Upstate Warrior Solution, a non-profit that helps rehabilitate and support military veterans.
