Greenville is celebrating AAPI (Asian American Pacific Islander) Heritage Month with a new festival hosted by a new nonprofit.
APA Fest is Sunday, June 4, at 307 E. Washington St. (near Sum Bar , Swanson’s Warehouse , and Fireforge Crafted Beer — who are hosting the event) from 12-6 p.m. with a karaoke after-party planned until 9 p.m.
Featuring food, cultural performances, and family-friendly activities (read: face painting, arts and crafts, language tables, and more), the festival is hosted by Third Culture GVL — a new nonprofit aimed at empowering Greenville’s minorities through collaboration and celebration.
