Yesterday, the City of Greenville unveiled 57,000+ sqft of new play areas under construction at Unity Park .

The new space for kiddos will be broken down into 4 different areas:

🚧 Synnex Playground | 30,400 sqft (about the size of 3.5 tennis courts) | A mound playground with slides, rope climbing structures, boulder scrambles, balances logs, and 2 lookout towers

🚧 Toddler Playground | 13,200 sqft (about the size of an Olympic-size swimming pool) | All-in-one play structure, log bridge, swings, teeter-totters, auditory/sensory equipment, and giant green salamander play sculpture

🚧 Anne Watson Trotter Memorial Garden | 9,400 sqft (about the size of 2 basketball courts) | Swings, several natural play elements, climbing wall, and storytelling circle

🚧 Greenville Water Splash Pad | 4,100 sqft | 40 spray jets + a special toddler-only zone

And some of the best news for all the parents + caregivers out there — these play areas are all conveniently located right next to restrooms.

The 60-acre Unity Park is on track to open in the spring of 2022, and you can stay up to date on all the latest information about the park here .
