“Exhibit V” at the Greenville Center for Creative Arts showcases powerful visuals, garments, and multimedia storytelling to highlight the voices of sexual assault survivors.
Held at The Gray Loft through Saturday, April 18, the free, public exhibit is designed to educate, raise awareness, and connect the community with resources like the Julie Valentine Center.
“April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, so the intention was to design an experience that could bring real awareness to cases happening in our own city, and point survivors toward the help they need for a thriving recovery,” curator Sarah Lörenk shared.

A long-vacant corner near Hampton-Pinckney could soon be home to Cafe Racer Coffee + Donuts. The Athens-based restaurant received approval from Greenville’s Planning Commission to rezone about three acres at Buncombe Street and Butler Avenue. It’s still pending city council approval. Book it to the Hughes Main Library for its Friends of the Library Used Book Sale this weekend. Friday, April 10 is open to members only from 2 to 5 p.m., and Saturday, April 11 is open to all from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with shelves full of budget-friendly reads.

Michelle, Conestee Nature Preserve’s ambassador box turtle, was taken from the Nature Playscape on Friday afternoon and is still missing. Staff are asking anyone with information to reach out.

The free CHIRP Family Festival brings together local businesses, schools, and wellness pros for a day of hands-on kids activities, live entertainment, and connection — making it easy for families to plug into Greenville’s community. You’ll find it at Bridgeway Station on Sunday, April 26 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
