Greenville City Council is considering a change that would require bars, breweries, and entertainment venues to get city approval before opening. The proposal is part of broader city code updates, including caps on ticketed events at bars and nightclubs and tighter noise restrictions, all aimed at increasing oversight of Greenville’s nightlife.
