Calling all stargazers: Celebrate International Dark Sky Week on April 17 + 18 at Burnsville’s inaugural Dark Sky on the Square.
Mayland Earth to Sky Park’s astronomers and local club volunteers will guide visitors through the constellations from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Main Street shops will offer extended hours and stellar surprises. Pro tip: Don’t forget to indulge in cosmic-themed food + drinks from local eateries.
The wait is over. Dutch Bros Coffee has opened its first Upstate location on Main Street in Mauldin. The Greenville location in Cherrydale is still listed as “coming soon,” and other forthcoming locations include the former Clutch Coffee spot on East North Street + the former Bojangles on Wade Hampton Boulevard in Greer.

State
South Carolina taxpayers just got more time to file. The state extended the filing deadline for individual 2025 returns to Oct. 15, 2026, while lawmakers work to align the state tax code with federal changes.
