Traffic

The Hudson Street Bridge near Unity Park reopened on Friday, Feb. 13, after months of repairs following damage from Hurricane Helene. The rebuilt bridge — designed to better withstand flooding — restores a key link between Southernside, Unity Park, and A.J. Whittenberg Elementary.

Coming Soon

Papi’s Tacos on Augusta is rebranding as Papi’s Kitchen, bringing a whole new upscale vibe and a new menu. We’ll give you a sneak peek of the space soon, but in the meantime — our friend @healthyishdani (one of GVLtoday’s Best) has a preview of the new menu.

Ms. Knowitall

Revival Butchery is beefing up in The Village — expanding its footprint to grow its offerings and carve out more production space. The local shop plans to meat demand head-on, slicing into a larger space to serve up even more of its house-made favorites.

Announced

Coffee Coffee announced it will close for now after five years in Greenville. Owner Jeremiah thanked guests, staff, and local partners, teasing that a new coffee concept is already brewing.

Closing

Greer’s Cartwright Food Hall will close at the end of the month, according to a social media post on Friday. The hall thanked the community for its support over the past two years. Momos Sushi and More will continue operating independently.

New stores are stepping into Haywood Mall: Clarks brings its classic Desert Boots and Wallabees, Rowan offers nurse-led ear piercings, and Miss A delivers budget-friendly beauty finds. (FOX Carolina)

I recently stumbled upon an Art-o-mat, or an old cigarette machine converted to sell art, at Exchange Coffee Co. in Simpsonville. I was curious about it, and found an article from TOWN magazine highlighting seven in SC. The one I found just happens to be the only one in Greenville County.
