Civic
The City of Greenville is developing its first true-to-scale 3D city model, giving planners and the design review board a new way to visualize how proposed buildings will impact the skyline — and even plan future trees, bike lanes, and pedestrian routes. The model will debut at the Civic Design Center next year.
Development
City Council gave first approval to rezone the Haynie-Sirrine neighborhood under the new Greenville Development Code. Guided by the 2024 neighborhood plan, the change adds protections and clearer development standards for nearly 92 acres south of downtown. A second reading is required. (Upstate Business Journal)
