To celebrate, the Peace Center launched “Call Time,” a new blog, and its first post celebrates the past three and a half decades, along with sharing updates for the future.

I shared a moment with Mary Duckett this past spring at the opening night of the Greenville Drive. We talked about progress on the Honor Tower, and how excited she was to finally see it taking shape.
Since I first met Mary when I joined GVLtoday over three years ago, she repeatedly told me, “We need this.” A fierce advocate for her neighborhood, she was the final speaker at the tower’s dedication at Unity Park one week ago today.
