Cleanup at the 238-acre former Union Bleachery could start next year, with developers planning to break ground on 222 market-rate apartments in early 2026. A $20.3 million Swamp Rabbit Trail extension is approved for funding but has not yet been received. Groundwater cleanup runs through 2029. (The Post and Courier Greenville)

Bon Secours St. Francis Health opened its new Comprehensive Breast Clinic at Eastside Hospital. Supported by the St. Francis Foundation and Dabo Swinney’s All In Team Foundation, the clinic offers expanded breast care services. (Greenville Journal)
Civic
Greenville County Council introduced an ordinance that would allow the county to keep up to 80% of new fee-in-lieu-of-tax revenue to fund roads and infrastructure. Administrator Joe Kernell said it could add between $8 and $12 million annually for roads. The measure needs two more readings to take effect. (Greenville Journal)
