Municipal Election Day is less than a month away, Tuesday, Nov. 4, and we’ve done the Googling so you don’t have to. To make voting easier, we’ve curated need-to-know information to get you ready as you head to the polls, including who (and what) will be on your ballot.
What are we voting on?
In the City of Greenville, you’ll be voting for three city council members (District 2, District 4, and an at-large seat).

Development
The Greenville Zoo broke ground on its $3.6 million Phillips Family Farm exhibit, the largest project in the zoo’s 65-year history. The upgraded habitat will feature animals like highland cattle, alpacas, and Kuenekune pigs, plus a two-story barn and event space. Construction is expected to wrap in late 2026 or early 2027. Happy Halloweenie. Greenville has a local dachshund group that’s getting together this Saturday at Sun and Soil Plant Parlor for a strut in their Halloween costumes.
