“Meet Me on Main” wrapped up its pilot run this past weekend, giving locals and businesses a taste of a pedestrian-only Main Street. The goal? More room to stroll, shop, and dine outdoors.

In February, we looked at examples of nearby cities with pedestrian-only districts and heard directly from readers who were for and against the idea.
