City Editor Danielle here. I got a sneak peek of Seratonic Venue & Lounge, the AC Hotel’s new event space and music venue, which is now booking events (and artists).
The space seats up to 300 people, so the venue hopes to host up-and-coming artists, regional acts, and even some A-listers for intimate listening events with fans.

Slushies incoming. City Tavern will reopen Monday, June 23, after it underwent a full renovation, including updating the formerly blue facade. There’s also a new full-service menu, 11 TVs, and retractable doors + windows to create an open-air space.

It’s a… TBD. Autumn, the Greenville Zoo’s giraffe, gave birth on Saturday night just after 6:30 p.m. The calf is alert and standing, and an exam will be done today to determine the height, weight, and sex. Keep an eye on the duo on the live webcams.
