Yell it from the mountain top. | Photo by Kidding Around Greenville
If you’ve been scrolling on social media in the last few months, you’ve probably seen someone posting “a moment that feels like Hozier’s yell.” We’re here to explain what that means (in case you missed it), and give some examples of Greenville moments that feel like Hozier’s yell.
What does it mean?
Irish musician Hozier is known for his soulful voice and popular songs like “Too Sweet” and “Take Me to Church.” He’s also featured on Noah Kahan‘s song “Northern Attitude” + adlibs a “yell” that people said made them feel “weightless and euphoric.”
Greenville examples
We’ve seen a few businesses hop on this trend, but we’re going to share a few picks that make us feel like Hozier’s yell.

What am I doing this weekend? Glad you asked. I’m starting the day strong by celebrating Indie Bookstore Day at M. Judson, having breakfast at Spoonbread, then going to two euphoria Spring Fest events. On Sunday, I’m headed to the grand opening of Poe Mill Music. If you see me out and about, stop by and say “hi.” I love meeting our readers.
