Developers say they want to expand Heddle Hill — an industrial park located on Rutherford Road — and future plans include restaurants, green space + trails, and hundreds of new homes. Local historians could collaborate with the developers on a museum + memorial commemorating WWI training facility, Camp Sevier, which was formerly on the site. (The Post and Courier Greenville)

Miracle Hill Ministries, a local nonprofit serving Greenvillians experiencing homelessness, is taking over the Habitat for Humanity ReStore locations on Woodruff Road (this spring) + Wade Hampton Boulevard (this fall). (Upstate Business Journal)

Meat the participants of Southern Roots: A BBQ Reunion at Travelers Rest’s Trailblazer Park on Saturday, April 12. The annual festival will announce its lineup of 30+ chefs and pitmasters today, so keep an eye on its Instagram.

Speaking of lineups, Greenville Theatre dropped the shows for its 100th season including “A Chorus Line,” “Clue: On Stage,” “White Christmas,” “Fiddler On the Roof,” “Steel Magnolias,” and a show yet-to-be-announced.

Commence playtime. Croftstone Park has reopened with new playground equipment, shade structures, repaired basketball courts, picnic tables + benches, and fresh landscaping.
