Welcome to Founderville, our new monthly series where we shine a spotlight on the innovation taking place in Greenville’s start up ecosystem. Chances are, our average reader hasn’t heard about many of these young companies. We’re looking to change that.
The name comes from our partners for this series, Founderville, a local venture capitalist group backing the next generation of founders.

RunVirt is taking a new approach to one of America’s oldest industries: printing. The custom-built production line allows RunVirt to produce race bibs in one of the most cost-effective and energy-efficient ways to date. They are also looking to pursue the newest of technologies with AI and machine learning to develop the concept further.

Prisma Health announced access to outpatient behavioral health services will triple when its Behavioral Health and Wellness Pavilion opens on Monday, Jan. 27. The $3.7 million facility on the Greenville Memorial Hospital campus will offer five specialty day treatment programs, including a first-in-SC program for women during pregnancy and postpartum. Speaking of new design renderings, two Pendleton Street buildings in the Village of West Greenville are on the City of Greenville’s Project Preview Meeting agenda for Tuesday, Jan. 28, including plans to build a covered outdoor patio for dining al fresco. See what other projects will be previewed.

Meet Reedy River Meadow, a new space from local conservation group Friends of the Reedy River, that will be filled with native plants to support pollinators, local wildlife, and water quality along the river downtown near Linky Stone Park.

Over the past two decades, euphoria has supported 45+ organizations that provide sustenance to those in need, educate through the arts, or aid children. Applications are now open for the festival’s 2025 grants. Apply by Wednesday, March 12.
