Estimated to cost between $80 million and $100 million, the stadium is set to begin construction in early 2025 and open in the summer of 2026 — just as the excitement of the FIFA World Cup 2026 kicks off in the US.
A winning streak
Did you know? The Greenville Triumph, a men’s professional soccer team, began playing in 2019. Their name, “Triumph,” symbolizes not only the team’s goal on the field but also the Upstate’s victory over the decline of the textile industry, which helped Greenville become one of the most desirable mid-sized cities to live in the US.
Since joining USL League One in 2019, the Triumph has scored a playoff spot in all six seasons, reached the Final three times, and clinched the title in 2020 — a true hat trick.
The Greenville Liberty debuted in 2022 as a charter member of the USL W League. With a roster of current college players, post-collegiate stars, and elite amateurs, the club won the South Atlantic Division title in its very first season.
A stadium for all
This state-of-the-art stadium will host all kinds of events, from professional + youth soccer to high school sports, concerts, festivals, and community gatherings.
Not only will it elevate the local sports and entertainment scene, but it will also position Mauldin and the Upstate as a premier destination for sports tourism in South Carolina.
Psst… 2025 season tickets are now available. Get yours early to secure priority seating for the 2026 season in the new stadium.
