$2 billion. That’s the total gross economic impact Bon Secours Wellness Arena has generated since opening in 1998. Conventions, Sports & Leisure International conducted the study which found the annual net new economic impact on the City of Greenville has grown from $21.5 million in 2018 to $55.8 million today.

Goodwill’s clearance center on Sulphur Springs Road reopened following “extensive renovations.” Meanwhile, the clearance center on Haywood Road is closed for renovations and will reopen in 2025.

Upstate Upstarts, a program for early stage companies run by investment firm VentureSouth, has partnered with Abundance Capital, a nonprofit that helps donors support the community through donor-advised funds. The pair are launching the Upstate Upstarts Catalytic Fund which will create opportunities for impact investing in Greenville.
