Consider the rains down in Africa blessed. City Council member Dorothy Dowe’s foundation — the Robert Huse Foundation — donated $250,000 to the Greenville Zoo to renovate the new Africa Plaza exhibit that houses Cape porcupines, Masai giraffes, and Aldabra giant tortoises.
