Picture the Greenville Convention Center. Now, picture it with ~60 bowling lanes built inside.
In 2028, thanks to a lot of help and planning from Visit Greenville, that vision will become a reality with the US Bowling Congress (USBC) Open Championships taking place right here in Greenville.
What are the Open Championships?
The annual tournament is headed by the USBC, aka the national governing body for bowling. The world’s largest participatory sporting event, the championships bring together some of the nation’s top bowlers to compete for a prize fund that exceeds $5 million.
