That’s why we asked you for your favorites, and rounded up local spots to grab a dog. We’ll be frank, we know Greenville has other hot hot dog spots. If you’re favorite didn’t make our list, let us know.
This joint opened in 1959 serving “chilidogs” and has expanded its offerings (think: salads and Greek specialties like gyros) while keeping the staples.
Pro tip: If you like your hot dogs deep fried, there’s a corndog on the kids menu.
Scoundrel Owner and Chef Joe Cash tells us this is the one local menu he’s bringing to a deserted island, shouting out “the hot dog all the way with half-and-half or a double chili cheeseburger.”

America has been celebrating this day for 248 years since the Declaration of Independence was formally adopted on July 4, 1776. Round up the kids, friends, or just yourself and head to Fluor Field + Unity Park for festivities and fireworks.
Head to Unity Park for an evening of live music, food trucks, and fireworks. Bring a blanket and enjoy a picnic dinner starting at 6 p.m. Fireworks will go off at 9:45 p.m.
Enjoy a pregame street party on District 356 as well as special military programming, then watch the Drive take the field in their stars and stripes jerseys. The evening will end with a fireworks display. Buy tickets.
While we know this isn’t a fireworks show, it is one of our favorite Fourth of July events each year. Deck out your bikes and trikes in red, white, and blue at the Travelers Rest Farmers Market.
