Opening at 4:30 a.m. (and remaining open until the last departure of the night), Triumph Taproom serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so you can find something to eat no matter when your journey begins. Did someone say preflight Bloody Mary? Pro tip: You can take your alcoholic beverage to go and sip it at your gate, but you have to finish before you board your flight.
Celebrating Champions
Triumph Taproom is only the the second soccer-themed airport restaurant and bar in North America — the first is City Pub at Orlando International Airport. In addition to the team’s logo + green and blue letters lighting up the restaurant’s facade, you’ll find Triumph and Liberty gear plus a mural celebrating our hometown soccer clubs.
What’s on the menu?
Indulge in appetizers like chicken wings, loaded fries, and fried pickles. Entrees include salads, handhelds (think: burgers, tacos, clubs), and a full bar with soccer-themed featured cocktails:
The Kickoff — Tito’s with lemon juice, Bloody Mary mix, and a blend of spices
The Yellow Card – A mid-game “tea” made with gin, vodka, rum, tequila, and sour mix
The Goalkeeper — Bacardi rum with lime juice and seasonal berries served with mint
The Clean Sheet — Malibu rum with blue curacao, lemon + lime juices, and pineapple juice
Plus, Thomas Creek is still on draft to celebrate local brewing and pay homage to the restaurant that came before it.

Ongoing demo will make room for more green space. | Photo by Clemson University
Things are looking different at Clemson University after crews started demolition on Harcombe Dining Hall, the Student Union, and Johnstone Hall last week. The goal: Create more green space in the middle of campus.
In addition to the construction taking place in the heart of campus, Clemson provided updates on several other construction projects:
An entirely renovated Byrnes Hall will open for students this fall semester. It’s the first of three high-rises getting updates with renovations underway at Manning + plans to break ground on Lever next year.
Phase I of the new Alumni and Visitor Center will create 100,000 sqft for Clemson organizations.
Click the button below for an interactive map showing all current construction on Clemson’s campus, including some projected completion dates, if you’re hoping to track the progress.
Summer travel hack: Did you know you can sip a cocktail at your gate while you wait for your flight?
SC law allows passengers to purchase alcoholic beverages after they make it through security and enjoy them in the airport. (You do have to finish before you board.)
That means you can sip a Bloody Mary while you await your morning flight or enjoy a refreshing beer as you sit in GSP’s airside garden. Just ask your server or bartender at RJ Rockers Flight Room, The Kitchen by Wolfgang Puck, or Triumph Taproom for your drink of choice in the approved to-go cup. Happy travels.
