We can’t think of a better way to soak in Greenville’s greenspace than spending some time on the links. Whether you’re looking to connect outdoors with friends or you’re honing in on the perfect swing, here are 20 golf courses to make a tee time in Greenville county.

Public courses

Greer Golf, 2299 Gap Creek Rd., Greer | Owned by the City of Greer, this course has practice facilities + a club house in addition to the course.

Furman Golf Course, 400 N. Hwy. 25 Byp., Greenville | After renovations in 2008, this course qualifies as a PGA Family Course.

Semi-private

The Preserve at Verdae, 650 Verdae Blvd., Greenville | This course was the home of the BMW Charity Classic for nine years.

Paris Mountain Country Club, 301 Old Rock House Rd., Greenville | Established in 1938, this course has views for days.

Members only

Greenville Country Club, 239 Byrd Blvd., Greenville | Members can golf on two nationally-recognized 18-hole private championship courses + take advantage of the PGA professionals on staff.

Green Valley Country Club, 225 Green Valley Dr., Greenville | This course is open year-round and has some pretty great views of the Blue Ridge Mountains + the Reedy River.
