  • The City of Greer announced four new projects (totaling $100 million) including a new fire station, a public safety police + fire training facility, a parking garage with ~500 spaces, and a sports and events center. Follow its Facebook page for updates.

  • Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport was named the “Best Airport in North America” by ACI’s Airport Service Quality Awards as voted on by you. But that’s not all. It also won “Best Small Airport,” “Cleanest Airport,” “Easiest Airport Journey,” “Most Enjoyable Airport,” and “Airport with the Most Dedicated Staff in North America.”

  • Let’s go clubbing. A 290-acre private + invite-only golf course is coming to Simpsonville. Kawonu Golf Club is expected to open in the spring of 2027 and construction should begin this year or early next year. (Greenville News)
