Summer to remember: Day camp at the YMCA of Greenville

The countdown for camp is on, GVL. Registration is open for Summer Day Camp at the YMCA, happening June 3-July 29.

Whether your kid or teen enjoys sports, arts and science, dance, swimming, or a full-day camp experience, the YMCA of Greenville is ready to help your kids have the best summer ever, offering different specialty camps and enrichment experiences at several locations across Greenville County.

    • 2. That’s how many new non-stop routes Avelo added to their flight schedule. These flights out of Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) will take you to Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) + New York’s Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC).
    Closing
    • The Bake Room — located in The Common’s beside Methodical Coffee — will be closing. No official closing date has been announced.

    • Clemson announced its Clemson Music Fest for students + residents from Friday, April 19 to Saturday, April 20. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 8:00 a.m and you can sign up now to receive updates + a pre-sale code in your inbox.

    • Who turned the lights out? For the first time since 2017 the Upstate will have front row seats to a partial solar eclipse. The eclipse will peak around 3:09 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9 when more than eighty percent of the sun is blocked out by the moon. We won’t see another eclipse event until 2044.
